Himachal’s Kufri witness season’s first snowfall: Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh smog, visibility 50 metres

Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh are in the grip of dense fog. Visibility was recorded between 50 metres and 100 metres in many areas on Wednesday morning. 
At the same time, Himachal’s Kufri received snowfall for the first time this year. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold will increase further. There is a possibility of mist and cold winds till Makar Sankranti.
The weather will be worse in 10 districts of Haryana. Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri may receive rain. The average temperature in Haryana was recorded at 6.1 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, the weather will be bad in 17 districts of Punjab. There is a possibility of rain in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, Moga, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Barnala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala. The average temperature in Punjab has been recorded at 8.3 degrees below. There is little chance of sunshine today.
