A 60-year-old woman from Sherpur village in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, passed away due to a coronavirus infection after approximately 8 months in Jalandhar. She also battled diabetes.
Seeking treatment, she had visited a private hospital in Jalandhar due to high fever and respiratory distress. Her COVID test, conducted at the hospital, returned positive. The woman’s final rites will be conducted following COVID protocols.
