Jalandhar bypoll: CM Mann’s roadshow in Jalandhar, lashes out at Rinku and Angural

Jalandhar: The Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday began his campaign from the Baba Balak Nath temple located in Dilbagh Nagar of Basti Gujan.

Punjab CM Mann said, “I had made a small call, but you people have shown so much enthusiasm. These elections that are taking place should not have happened, but they did. Our candidate turned out to be wrong.”

He said, “Very few people get a chance to serve others, but this was wrong. Our first candidate betrayed us. I made Rinku an MP, but he was greedy.”

CM Mann continued, “Rinku has been freed by the people, but on July 10, Angural will also be free. Whose name is also Bhagat and he himself is also a Bhagat. In such a situation, you have a common candidate this time. Our victory will greatly benefit this area. Bhagat has seen poverty, so he knows the pain of the people. Whatever Bhagat says, the same will happen in your area.”

CM Mann added, “In the West Constituency, ‘W’ no longer stands for waste; ‘B’ stands for the best. Bhagat is committed to the development of the people. Now, everyone will be investigated, and cases will be registered against those involved. They are worried now. If there was a machine to look into people’s hearts, I would buy it. Rinku and Angural cheated.”

Section 144 has been imposed in the city regarding the election. These orders will come into effect from tomorrow, i.e., Wednesday, and will remain in force till July 20. He also attacked BJP candidate Sheetal Angural.
