Jalandhar bypoll results: AAP candidate leads with 46064 votes; AAP workers celebrate

Jalandhar: Counting of votes for Jalandhar West Assembly seat is underway. The main contest here is between Mohinder Bhagat of Aam Aadmi Party, Surinder Kaur of Congress and Sheetal Angural of BJP.

In the voting held on July 10, 54.90% voting was recorded here.

The specialty of this seat is that every time a new party has been winning elections from here. In 2012, BJP won the seat, Congress in 2017 and AAP won the seat in 2022.

Mohinder Bhagat is currently leading with 46064 votes.
