Jalandhar DC office employees to go on strike today, work of all departments to be stalled
Jalandhar: Employees of Jalandhar DC office have been on the pen down strike for the past several days. The employee union, however, will stage a sit-in outside the DC office on Monday.
Employees of all departments of the DC office will sit on a strike to leave the pen, announced by PSMSU Punjab union.
The protest will begin at 10 am outside the DC office. Following this, all the official working set to get hit in the DC office.
The call for strike has been given to seek the implementation of old pension, DA, Sixth Pay Commission, full salary during the probation period, appointment of contractual employees in various departments, stopping deduction of 200 / – development tax. The demonstration is being done by the DC Office Employees Union against the Punjab government.
