Joint teams of Police and mining to check illegal mining in the district

Kapurthala: Deputy commissioner kapurthala Mr. Vishesh sarangal and SSP kapurthala Mr. Rajpal singh has reviewed the working of District Mineral foundation .

Today in a meeting which includes ADCs , SDMs and officials from various departments, Deputy commissioner said that District Mineral plan has already been approved.

He also advocates for effective investigation and prosecution for fighting the crime regulated under the Mines and minerals ( Development and Regulation act 1957. )

He also said that overloading from brick kilns would not be allowed at any cost to save the precious lives of people.

Deputy commissioner asked the mining officials to ensure that all brick kilns to follow the instructions regarding that.

Meanwhile in the SSP kapurthala Mr Rajpal singh said that to check the illegal mining joint teams of Police and mining officials to be formed in the district which would be active by 24/7.

Prominent amongst present in the meeting included ADC (G) Sagar Setia , ADC (D) Parmjit kaur , SDM sultanpur lodhi Chandrajoti, SDM kapurthala Lal Vishwash Bains , SDM Bholath Sanjeev Sharma and SDM Phagwara Amardeep singh besides official from various department.
