Kejriwal unveils coffee table book titled “Punjab’s Voice in the Parliament”, highlighting Arora’s first year in Rajya Sabha

Ludhiana, July 29, 2023: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in presence of MP Raghav Chadha unveiled a coffee table book titled “Punjab’s Voice in the Parliament” in Delhi on Saturday. The book is all about AAP MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora’s first year (2022-23) in the Rajya Sabha.

Launching the book, Kejriwal highly appreciated the work and efforts done by Arora in highlighting public-interest issues both in the Rajya Sabha and outside.

Kejriwal said the book reflects the inner spirit of working of Arora who always gets ready to resolve public issues at every possible level, said Kejriwal. He said Arora that “We are proud of you”.

Delhi Chief Minister encouraged Arora to keep up with good work in the future also as he has done in the past. He said the AAP party is very much inspired with the working style of Arora. He said it is a good luck for people of Ludhiana that they got Arora as their representative in the Rajya Sabha.

Kejriwal said Arora’s efforts have already resolved many issues of people of Ludhiana and hoped that these efforts will further continue and Ludhiana will become a shining city across the country with the efforts of both Arora and AAP.

MP Raghav Chadha was also present on the occasion. He too lauded the efforts and achievements of Arora. He also congratulated Arora for his commendable work.

While presenting his book Arora expressed his sincere gratitude for Kejriwal’s trust and confidence in him as a Member of Parliament from Punjab. He said he is honoured to work for the people of Punjab under Kejriwal’s leadership and vision for the country.

He said the coffee table book is a visual and textual showcase of all the initiatives that he has undertaken in 2022-23, while the annual report 2022-23 documents my parliamentary activities such as debates, questions, speeches, and motions that he has participated in or sponsored.

Arora told Kejriwal that his support and encouragement have been a source of inspiration and motivation for him to work harder for the welfare of Punjab and the nation. “I have learned a lot from your exemplary governance and innovative policies that have transformed Delhi into a model state”, he further told Kejriwal.

Adding, Arora further told Kejriwal that he would always seek his guidance and advice as a Member of Parliament on the issues and challenges that affect Punjab and the country as well.

Arora has worked mainly in promoting affordable health care, infrastructure development in Ludhiana and State of Punjab as a whole. This included Halwara Airport, NHAI Projects, modernisation of Railway Station, upgradation of ESIC Hospital, new and better facility of passport office amongst many other initiatives. Arora has also sanctioned whole of the MPLAD amount he could have within the time period given.
