Jalandhar police get Lawrence’s transit remand

Punjab’s Jalandhar police have finally got the transit remand of gangster Lawrence. The Moga court has handed over the gangster to Jalandhar police for questioning. Lawrence will be questioned by Jalandhar police in connection with three murder and arms supply cases in Jalandhar. After bringing him from Moga, Jalandhar police will produce gangster Lawrence in court and seek his remand.

Police have tightened security in Jalandhar city and the route through which the gangster is to be brought. Police force has also been deployed in the court premises of Jalandhar. In view of security, those coming to the court are also being searched. The police will bring Lawrence in an armoured vehicle with a police convoy and produce him in a Jalandhar court and seek remand.

A case of illegal arms smuggling has been registered against the gangster at division number 5 police station in Jalandhar. The police will inquire into the matter. Apart from this, two more cases are also being told, the police will also interrogate Lawrence about them and related to case that the weapons network was being run from Lawrence Prison.
