Major blow to International Narcotics Networks: Jalandhar Police busts drug network

Jalandhar: In a significant crackdown on international narcotics operations, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police have dismantled a major drug network, resulting in the arrest of nine individuals across multiple locations. This operation has dealt a substantial blow to drug trafficking activities in the region.

During the raids, authorities seized a massive cache of illegal substances, including over 111,000 tablets and capsules, along with other drugs. Additionally, arms and ammunition were recovered, underscoring the dangerous nature of the network’s operations.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered, and investigations are ongoing to trace the network’s backward linkages. This effort aims to dismantle the cartel’s infrastructure and incapacitate its illegal arms and drug trafficking activities.
