Patients receive 80 types of free medicines at Aam Aadmi Clinics
Punjab E News: Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has taken significant steps to improve healthcare in the state through the establishment of Aam Aadmi Clinics.
These clinics, located in both urban and rural areas, are providing free medical treatment close to people’s homes, eliminating the need for long-distance travel for healthcare.
A total of 842 Aam Aadmi Clinics have been set up across Punjab, offering free services to the public.
Patients at these clinics receive 80 types of medicines at no cost and have access to 38 different types of diagnostic tests, including screenings for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, skin diseases, and seasonal viral fevers.
According to the Punjab government, over 20 million people have benefited from these clinics so far, with 95% of daily patients receiving treatment for their ailments.
