Man attacks staff with sword in Ludhiana police station, injured two cops

Chandigarh: In Punjab’s Ludhiana, a man entered a police station at night and attacked the staff. When the person, wielding a sword, entered, the policemen started running to save their lives. Two policemen were injured in the attack.

Afterward, some employees showed courage and subdued the attacker. The police claim that the attacker is mentally ill. He has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the night shift was ongoing on Sunday night. Suddenly, at 8 o’clock, while the staff was present in the main scribe’s room, a person with a sword entered from the back and attacked.

Following the sudden attack, the employees began running around. The situation escalated to the point where a policeman fled the room to save his life while another employee remained inside and was continuously attacked by the assailant.

The cop was injured by the sword but eventually ran out and managed to control the attacker by hitting him with a brick.
