MC issues notice to Bath Castle Resort in Jalandhar to deposit Rs 1.58 crore

Jalandhar: The Jalandhar Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to “Bath Castle” (Marriage Palace), one of the popular resorts in Jalandhar. The notice has been issued to the owners of Bath Castle directing them to deposit the outstanding amount of Rs 1.58 crore with immediate effect.

This action has been taken by the Building Department of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation.

It is alleged that the owners of Bath Castle did not pay the outstanding amount after paying the first installment.

The notice issued states that the approval was given by the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation in 2017 regarding regularization of Bath Castle. Its total fee was around 1.04 crores. 6 installments were made to deposit the money in which the first installment was given in the month of February 2018.
