Mid-day meal and ASHA workers deputed on election duty in Punjab, to get Rs 200 per day allowances

Chandigarh: Polling parties in Punjab will get immediate help in case of food or health problems. For this, the Election Commission has deployed mid-day meal workers and Asha workers on the duty for heat web management.

For this, mid-day meal workers and Asha workers will be given an allowance of Rs 200 per day. This order has been issued by the Election Commission to the officers of all the districts.

They will get this honorarium on the lines of allowance being given to grade four employees. If there is any lapse in the order, then action will be taken by the Commission, sources said.
