Mukhtar Ansari case: ‘I will file defamation case against CM Mann’, says Sukhjinder Randhawa
Punjab News: Reacting sharply to the allegations levelled by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, former Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Monday while rejecting the claims said that he will file a defamation case against the CM Mann.
Yesterday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has said that Rs 55 lakh will not be paid from the Punjab exchequer for the lawyers’ fees to fight a case in the Supreme Court for the comfortable stay of UP gangster Mukhtar Ansari in rupnagar jail in the state. Mann said the money would be recovered from former chief minister and then home minister Captain Amarinder Singh and former deputy chief minister and then jails minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa citing that they had kept gangster wrongly.
