National Insaaf Morcha member and Nihang Singh broke the barricades and proceeded, the UT Police fired water cannons and lathis charged

Chandigarh: Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara Committee and other Sikh organisations are holding a strong morcha for other Sikh issues, including the demand for the release of bandi Singhs on the joint border of Mohali-Chandigarh.

Today, members of the Rashtriya Insaaf Morcha and some Nihang Singhs entered Chandigarh by breaking the barricades at the entry point of Mohali-Chandigarh near the official residence of the Mohali SSP. Due to this, the UT Police used water cannons and lathi charge on the protesters, but the protesters managed to move forward. Due to which the police got angry.
