Now land records of Basti Bawa Khel just at click of Button

Property records of Basti Guzan, Basti Sheikh and Maqsudan will be computerized soon- DC Vishesh Sarangal

Jalandhar News: The property records in Basti Bawa Khel are now just at a click away with 317 hectare area of city’s old area has been computerized by district administration.

       Launching the facility in his office, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that in a bid to ensure transparency, the land records of Mohallas including Raj Nagar, New Raj Nagar, Hardev Nagar, New Hardev Nagar, Madhuban Colony, Gulab Devi Road, Katehra Mohalla, Killa Mohalla, Swami Bagh, Pink City, Mata Sant Nagar, Leather Complex, Sports and Surgical Complex, Bank Colony, Gautam Nagar, Kabir Vihar, Baba Kahan Dass Nagar, New Gautam Nagar, Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Nagar and Guru Ramdass Nagar had been made available online.

       He said that now any land owner could get a certified copy of the Jamabandi (record of rights) from Fard Kendra of Jalandhar Sub-Division-II.

       He said that this project had come as a boon for the people of Basti Bawa Khel as it will save time from the cumbersome paper work.

       Sarangal said the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was fully committed to providing hassle-free services to the people in a transparent manner. He said that in the coming months, the property records of Basti Guzan-1 Basti Guzan-II, Basti Sheikh and Maqsudan locality would also be computerized.

        Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included ASM Punjab Land Records Society Parteek Singh Bedi, Ram Parkash and others.
