Over 2.5 lakh youth to get jobs, the government will bring an investment revolution in Punjab: CM Mann

Punjabenews: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today held an important press conference regarding investment in Punjab. He said that since our government has been formed, we have been continuously working on increasing investment opportunities in Punjab, there are good opportunities for investment in every field in Punjab, we have skilled youth power.

We have made a lot of efforts to bring investment to Punjab, from Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai city. “I personally talked to industrialists and invited them to come to Punjab and invest in Punjab. The Aam Aadmi Party government will fully cooperate with them.
Govt to bring investment revolution in Punjab,” CM said.

CM said that after forming the government, Punjab recorded Rs 40,000 crore investment in Punjab. More than 2.5 lakh youth will get jobs. Jobs will be available in infrastructure, manufacturing, textile and agriculture related sectors. 12,000 crore investments will be made in real estate, housing and infrastructure, 1.25 lakh jobs will be created.
Likewise, 7000 crore investment in manufacturing sector, 42000 youth will get jobs. Aloy Steel sector to invest Rs 4,000 crore in Punjab, 10,000 youth to get jobs.
CM said that there will also be a big investment in the textile sector, about 3.5 thousand crores will be invested in more than 14000 youth will get jobs.
About 3000 crores will be invested in the agriculture of food processing sector, more than 16000 youth will get jobs
The Investment Summit is going to be held in Mohali on 23rd and 24th February, the government expecting that we will be able to double the investment we have brought in ten months.
He stressed that the law and order of Punjab is improving rapidly and government has taken several steps to provide a transparent and corruption free government to the people.
