Panchayat polls in Punjab likely to be announced today

Chandigarh: The panchayat elections in Punjab are likely to be held on October 15. An announcement in this regard is likely to be made by the State Election Commission on Wednesday.

Punjab State Election Commissioner Raj Kamal Chaudhary has called a press conference at 3 pm at Punjab Bhawan here, in which the announcement is likely to be made.
