Passport Mela in Jalandhar RPO to be held on November 23

Jalandhar News (Pawan Dhupar): The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Jalandhar, is organizing a “Passport Mela” on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at its office located at SCO No. 42-51, Pocket 1, near the bus stand. Regional Passport Officer Mr. Yashpal stated that the event is specifically aimed at expediting passport applications submitted before June 30, 2024, which are currently pending due to incomplete documents.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to visit the RPO between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM without a prior appointment, carrying all necessary supporting documents for prompt processing. The Passport Mela provides an opportunity for applicants to clear pending requirements and complete their applications efficiently.

In addition, Mr. Yashpal emphasized that no institution or middleman is authorized by the Ministry of External Affairs to handle passport services. The public is advised to apply only through the official portal, www.passportindia.gov.in, and avoid intermediaries. For further queries, applicants may visit the office on any working day between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM.
