Petrol, diesel prices hiked in Punjab

Chandigarh: The prices of petrol and diesel have increased in Punjab. The Punjab Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has increased the VAT on petrol and diesel.

The Punjab Cabinet has increased VAT on petrol by 61 paise and on diesel by 92 paise. According to the information received, with this increase, the state government will get an increase of Rs 392 crore from diesel and Rs 150 crore from petrol.
