Punbus and Roadways Union’s meeting with officers remained inconclusive, strike will continue

Chandigarh:  The meeting with the officials of the Punbus and Roadways Union remained inconclusive and staff will continue their strike on Tuesday. The union representatives announced that the strike by the union will continue and the struggle will be intensified. The leaders announced that the chief minister’s official residence would be gheraoed tomorrow. The staff started the strike after a Batala depot conductor was suspended by the transport department. 
Apart from this, he announced that dharnas will be held against the Punjab government in different districts of Punjab. The sit-in by the employees against the Punjab government continued for the fifth consecutive day. 
     The union will continue the struggle till the suspension of the conductor of Batala depot was not revoked and the transfers of 15 conductors of Ferozepur depot are canceled.
