Punjab government accepts Parampal Kaur’s resignation
Chandigarh: The Punjab government has relieved IAS Parampal Kaur, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Bathinda, from duty. However, she was not granted VRS; instead, her resignation application was accepted. Meanwhile, Parampal Kaur will file her nomination as a BJP candidate in the coming days.
According to the information received, the government will no longer provide VRS-related benefits to Parampal Kaur. Parampal Kaur’s statement has also been issued after the acceptance of her resignation.
She states that her role was to submit the application, and it is up to the government to make a decision. It is evident that she will soon submit her nomination papers as a BJP candidate in the upcoming days.
