Punjab government approves grant of Rs 120 crore to Punjabi University

Chandigarh: The Punjab government has increased the monthly grant of Punjabi University.

The university is being given a grant of Rs 30 crore per month, but a total of Rs 120 crore, including Rs 30 crore for the third quarter and Rs 90 crore for the fourth quarter, was pending, for which the finance department (finance expenditure-2 branch) of the government has issued a letter and approved the additional budgetary provision of Rs 120 crore.
