Punjab govt may give Cabinet Ministry to MLA Mohinder Bhagat: Sources

Chandigarh: The AAP government is preparing to make Mohinder Bhagat of the Aam Aadmi Party, who won the Jalandhar West seat of Punjab, a minister.

It is also learnt that the AAP government has also sought time from the governor for the same. Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer had resigned as a cabinet minister after winning the Lok Sabha elections and no other minister was made in his place.

Due to this, there is talk of making Bhagat the Sports Minister. It is also learnt that there will not be much reshuffle in the Punjab Cabinet.
