Punjab govt moves Supreme Court against Governor

Chandigarh: The Punjab government has moved the Supreme Court against the Governor of Punjab.

Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha tweeted that the Punjab government has approached the Supreme Court on the issue of the budget session.
The matter will come up for hearing tomorrow morning. On February 22, the Punjab Cabinet had written to the Governor to convene the budget session. So far, the Governor has not given any reply on the Budget Session and on February 23, the Governor had said that he will take legal opinion, after which he will respond.
