Contractual roadways employees hold protest across Punjab today 

Chandigarh: The roadways employees to hold protest in Punjab. Today, the drivers and conductors working on contract are on strike on the call of the Roadways-Punbus Contract Workers Union. Therefore, today the wheels of 3,000 buses will be jammed in the entire state.

The office bearers of the union have been continuously meeting with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann as well as other officials from the MD of the department to discuss the demands, but no result has come out in any meeting. After this, the employees’ union decided to hold a chakka jam on June 27 and 28.
