Punjab Transport Department cancels permits of 600 buses 

Chandigarh: The Transport Department in Punjab has taken major action. Permits of 600 buses have been cancelled. These permits were issued illegally.

Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar said that this whole scam happened during the Akali Dal government from 2007 to 2017 and after that during the Congress government. These permits had violated rules.

This included many large transports, which were issued permits. He also named some transporters. He said that about 30 percent of the permits of former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal were canceled, which were illegal.
