Rapists, murderers are being released from jail but why law is different for Sikh prisoners, Bikram Majithia slams Centre government
Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia held a press conference and state government over law and order situation and also sought release of Sikh prisoners from the centre.
He said, “The release of Sikh prisoners is my main issue. How can laws in one country be different laws for each state.”
He has further said that parole is granted to Dera chief who has raped Sadhvi and murdered a journalist. But why is the law different for Singhs.
He says that Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana never broke any law in jail but why is the government silent on his release?
“In Gujarat, the sentence of the rapists of a woman has been released and even murders were released but Sikhs are languishing in jails even after completing their sentences.”
