Relief for foreign aspirants: Government increases Passport appointments at several Seva Kendras including Chandigarh 

Chandigarh News: There is relief news for people who want to go abroad. In view of the increasing number of passport applicants and those waiting, the Ministry of External Affairs has widened the scope of work in many Passport Seva Kendras. 
      The slot booking availability for submission of files for normal and tatkal passports at passport seva kendras of Bhiwani, Sirsa, Hisar, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat and Chandigarh has now been increased to 1000. 
      At the same time, due to the delay in making passports and the distance to the office despite online applications, people of Charkhi Dadri and Fatehabad districts have also raised the demand for opening a Passport Seva Kendra at the district headquarters.
