RISHI PAL SINGH TAKES OVER NEW MCJ COMMISSIONER JALANDHAR

Jalandhar News: A 2014-batch IAS officer Rishi Pal Singh on Friday joined as new Municipal Corporation Commissioner.

Before transfer, he was earlier posted as Deputy Commissioner of Mansa. He had also remained Tarn Taran DC.

After joining , Singh said that his aim would be to implement the government programs including smart city, solid waste management and improving facilities at ground level in letter and spirit. His attention will be focused upon the overall development of the city especially improving the civic amenities.

The recovery of dues will also be of utmost importance, said the new MC commissioner.
Later, Singh also met with officials from various branches about ongoing projects being done by the MC and under the smart city mission.
