Sarkaar Vapaar Milni proves boon for traders

CM announces various decisions to benefit the traders on the spot

Mukerian: The Sarkaar Vapaar Milni organised by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann proved to be a fertile platform for the immediate redressal of the issues raised by the traders.

During the interaction when one of the trader raised the issue of plight of residents of Talwara due to the non functional BBMB hospital at Talwara, the Chief Minister immediately asked the Chairman of PSPCL to flag this issue with the BBMB authorities. He he said that the state government will also raise the issue of upgrading BBMB hospital with the authorities and ensure quality treatment to people.

On the issue raised by another trader regarding the plight of Mandis, the Chief Minister also announced to upgrade the infrastructure in mandis across the state on modern lines. He said that all out efforts will be made for the welfare of the traders and industries.

Likewise, when one of the traders raised the matter pertaining to the inconvenience being caused to the traders due to non allowing of parking of vehicles at Gaushala bazaar in Hoshiarpur, the Chief Minister immediately ordered that the parking space in DMO office should be made available to the traders. He said that the inconvenience to the traders and industry will not be tolerated at any cost.

In another issue raised by a trader, the Chief Minister immediately said that the state government will now provide health insurance to all the traders having turnover of Rs 2 crore. Earlier this facility was available only to the traders with turnover of Rs 1 crore.
