Severe heat wave forecast for next 5 days in northwest India, including Punjab

Chandigarh: Northwest and eastern India are again reeling under severe heat. The met department has predicted a rise of two to three degrees in the temperature in the next five days.

“During the next five days, severe heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over northwest and east India,” the imd said in a statement.

Due to this, parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Orissa and West Bengal will be affected.
