SGPC condemns discrimination with Punjabi in Haryana
Amritsar News: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee said that the discrimination against Punjabi (Gurmukhi) despite being the second language of the state in Haryana is highly condemnable.
As per the information, in the Government departments of Haryana, an application given by any person in Punjabi language in not accepted instead they are asked to write the same in Hindi or English. The Executive Committee of the SGPC strongly condemning this discrimination demands from the Haryana Government to give due respect to Punjabi language in the state and the recognition to it as an official language.
