New Delhi: The delegation, led by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, met Union Minister Anurag Thakur. There has been a tussle going on between SGPC and Punjab government over giving telecast rights of broadcasting live Gurbani from Golden Temple.
The SGPC recently launched its web channel and announced to launch its satellite channel soon. It has asked PTC to continue to telecast the gurbani on its channel. The Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant has raised objection to it and demeaned that SGPC must give rights to all channel to telecast Gurbani at free of cost.
