SIT summons Majithia to appear again tomorrow for questioning
The Special Investigation Team (SIT), headed by ADGP Mukhwinder Singh Chhina, probing the drug smuggling case registered two years ago, has again summoned Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia. He has been asked to reach the IG office in Patiala to appear before the SIT again on December 30.
Though Majithia was summoned on December 27, he did not appear on the ground that he needed at least four weeks’ time to collect the documents sought by the SIT.
Now the SIT has issued summons to Majithia for the third time to appear again on December 30.
