Sukhbir Singh Badal performs sewa at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib for second day
Chandigarh: Former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, along with other Akali leaders, continued to perform sewa at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib for the second consecutive day.
The visit marked the third phase of the party’s ongoing religious service initiative.
Wearing a servitor’s robe, Badal served as a guard in front of the gurdwara’s porch, holding a spear and wearing a plaque around his neck.
He later joined fellow Akali leaders and workers in performing Gurbani Kirtan for an hour.
Following the kirtan, Badal moved to the langar hall, where he participated in cleaning utensils as part of the sewa. The initiative reflects the Akali Dal’s emphasis on religious engagement and community service.
