Tense situation in Ajnala, Amritpal’s supporters enter police station with swords

Chandigarh: The atmosphere in Amritsar’s Ajnala remains very tense today. In a huge number of people, ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh along with his supporters have entered the Ajnala police station.

Thousands of angry people surrounded the police station with guns, swords and sticks. Although the police had also barricaded them to stop them, the supporters broke it and entered the police station.
They held protest against the arrest of Toofan Singh, a close aide of Amritpal Singh.
