Three killed as bus rams into truck in Hoshiarpur

Chandigarh: Three members of a family were hit by a bus while they were walking towards Adda Garna Sahib on the Jalandhar-Pathankot National Highway at Dasuha in Hoshiarpur. A young man died on the spot while 2 have suffered serious injuries.

The family members blocked the highway for two hours. After which the family members opened the jam after the assurance of the police and Magistrate Dasuya.

According to the information, a woman along with her two sons had walked to the sarpanch’s house from village Pave Chingra to get KYC done for widow pension and ration.

The three were hit by a private bus near Garna Sahib.

Sukhinder Singh died in the accident. Paramjit Kaur and Ravinder Singh were seriously injured. In this regard, the police personnel assured the family members to deliver justice and calmed the traffic jam.
