Use your new ideas and innovations to become active partners in socio economic growth of state: CM exhorts youth

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday exhorted the youth to use their new ideas and innovations to become an active partners in the socio economic development of the state.

Addressing the gathering during TIE CON here today, the Chief Minister said that he has always been an advocate of new ideas and innovations adding that it is the need of the hour to empower the common man. He said that for that Bussiness blaster scheme has been introduced in the government schools to boost entrepreneurial skills amongst the students. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is the need of hour to ensure career guidance to the youth thereby empowering them in a big way.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is making concerted efforts for the welfare of the youth of the state. He said that the focus of his government is to ensure that youth become job givers instead of job seekers. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is the need of hour to carve out a progressive and prosperous Punjab.

The Chief Minister said that ushering in an era of revolution in the state the Punjab government has established Schools of Eminence in the state. He said that these hi-tech schools are equipped with ultra modren facilities to the youth thereby ensuring that excel in every field in life. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these state of the art schools are acting as a catalyst in providing quality education to the students.

The Chief Minister said that the youth must work hard and excel in every sphere of life with dedication. He said that this is need of hour to ensure that they remain relevant with the every passing hour. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government is promoting out of the box ideas for the welfare of the state and its people.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has taken historic decision to change the working of government offices due to which 55 Mega watt of power was saved. Likewise, he said that it facilitated the common man by getting their work done by preventing them for scorching heat. Similarly, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it helped in facilitating the farmers by providing them uninterrupted power adding that it also helped in streamlining the movement of traffic.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has introduced unique colour coded stamp papers, which is a step forward towards ushering a new era of Industrial Revolution in the state. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab is the first state to introduce green colored stamp papers to facilitate the entrepreneurs for setting up their units thereby giving much needed fillip to industrial growth of the state. He described it as a revolutionary step aimed at promoting ease of doing business for the entrepreneurs desirous of setting up their units in the state.

Likewise, the Chief Minister said that every inch of this sacred land has the footprint of great Gurus, saint, seers, martyrs and poets. He said that Punjabis are global citizens who have proved their mettle across the globe with their hard work and dedication. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjabis have been blessed with an indomitable spirit of hard work and resilience due to which they carve out space for themselves.

Addressing the gathering during TIE CON here today, the Chief Minister said that it is heartening to see that the youth is making strenuous efforts for carving a niche for themselves. He said that this is a good sign as the youth want to rise in their respective fields by their hard work, dedication and commitment. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is a good sign and the state government will give them fulsome support and cooperation for this noble cause.

The Chief Minister said that the youth should not be dependent on anyone and they should work hard for scripting new success story in life. He said that the parents who provide every comfort to their child are making their kids ‘lion of circus’, who don’t know how to hunt. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that we should enable our child to work hard so that he excels in life.

The Chief Minister said that as runways at the airports facilitate an Airplane for its smooth take off in the same manner the state government is helping the youth to realize their dreams. He asserted that every effort is being made to give wings to the ideas of youth and no stone is being left unturned for this noble cause. Bhagwant Singh Mann made a fervent appeal to youth to make all out efforts for carving an identity of their own to make a place in society adding that sky’s the limit for them.

The Chief Minister exhorted the youth to stay grounded and believe in hard work as it is the sole key to success. He impressed upon the youth to make huge investments in the state as there was a lot of scope of progress and prosperity on this land. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government is committed for giving impetus to the development of the state and prosperity of its people.
