Vidhan Sabha Speaker convenes meeting on Punjabi language, MLAs and litterateurs to attend

Punjabenews: The state government is constantly putting efforts to strengthen the mother tongue Punjabi in the state. Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan will hold a meeting today. He has convened the meeting in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha complex.

MLAs and litterateurs from Punjab will participate in it. Kultar Sandhwan will discuss with everyone about the strength of mother tongue Punjabi and discuss how to put it into practice.
The meeting will begin at 11 am today in the Vidhan Sabha complex. All the MLAs will give their suggestions to the Speaker Sandhwan. What platforms can be used to strengthen the Punjabi language in the state, where it should be made mandatory in practice, all these will be discussed.
After the meeting, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will also be apprised of the suggestions received here.
Meanwhile, an ultimatum has been given to replace all hoardings in the state with mother tongue before February 21 International Language Day. After this, the government is preparing to impose fines on those who violate the orders. The first language on the signboard will be Only Punjabi and after that any other language Hindi or English can be used.
