Vigilance Bureau issues lookout circular against Manpreet Singh Badal
Punjab News: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau has issued a lookout circular against former Punjab finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal in connection with alleged irregularities in the purchase of a property in Bathinda.
Officials suspect that Manpreet Singh Badal may flee the country to evade arrest, so all airports have been put on alert.
The move comes a day after vigilance officials registered a case against Badal and five others in the Bathinda property case.
After registering the case, the police have launched a search operation to trace Manpreet Singh. The officials raided his residence and other known locations, but could not locate him.
