Voter registration for SGPC elections from October 21 to Nov 15

Jalandhar News: The registration of new voters for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) elections would begin from October 21 to November 15, 2023.

       Deputy commissioner Mr. Vishesh sarangal said that the registration forms would be available free of cost to the patwari in the rural areas and municipal councils or local authorities in urban areas.

        He said that these forms would also be available with all the SDMs in the district free of cost.

       It may be mentioned here that person had to be a Keshdhari Sikh. Those who trim or shave a beard, smoke or drink alcohol cannot register themselves as a voter.
