Woman on morning walk killed by speedy car in Punjab’s Ludhiana

Chandigarh: A young woman who was on her way to the gym to exercise was struck by a speedy car and killed in Ludhiana on Sunday morning. The impact of the collision was so severe that she veered into the divider in the middle of the road.

Subsequently, the driver of the car descended and checked the woman’s pulse, but he fled from the spot later.

Upon witnessing his aunt drenched in blood, the woman’s nephew, who accompanied her to the gym, sounded an alarm. With the assistance of bystanders, he hurriedly transported her to the hospital.

However, due to her deteriorating condition, the family decided to transfer her to Delhi. Unfortunately, she passed away en route to Delhi.

Currently, the family has filed a complaint against the car driver with the police. The police have placed the woman’s body in the mortuary of the civil hospital. The deceased woman has been identified as Sweety Arora, aged 33.
