Youth injured by ASI bullet dies during treatment, murder case registered cop

The youth, who was injured in a bullet fired by an ASI’s service revolver at the Liberty Market outside the city’s railway station, died today.

On the previous day, the ASI was showing his service revolver to the shopkeeper at the mobile shop when suddenly a bullet was fired. Due to which a boy working in the shop got injured. 

The injured boy was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died this morning. 

Due to this matter, Liberty Market shopkeepers kept their outlets closed seeking legal action against the cop and a case has been registered against the police under section 302 (Murder). He has also been suspended.
