11.36% voter turnout in Sangrur Lok Sabha seat till 9am, CM Bhagwant Mann casts his vote along with wife
Chandigarh: Voting for the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat began at 7 a.m. By 9 a.m., 11.36 percent of the votes had been cast.
Despite the scorching heat in Punjab, people are coming out of their homes and reaching the polling booths to vote.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann cast his vote along with his family in Mangwal village of Sangrur. Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer also cast his vote with his family some time ago.
The polling process will continue until 6 p.m. There are a total of 1,555,370 voters in this constituency, including 823,448 men, 731,876 women, and 46 transgender voters.
