16-member committee submits report to Giani Harpreet Singh on taking ‘saroop’ of Sri Guru Granth Sahib at protest sites

Punjab E News: A 16-member committee was formed to decide the future guidelines for taking ‘saroop’ of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji at the demonstrations sites, the report prepared by which has been submitted to Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. 

According to the information received, the report prepared by the 16-member committee has been submitted to Giani Harpreet Singh by the coordinator of the sub-committee, Karnail Singh Peer Mahammad. A decision on this will be taken after a meeting with five Singh Sahibans in the coming time.
The 16-member committee has given its views in writing. Whether it is right to take the form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in dharnas etc. or not, the Jathedar sahib will meet in a few days and decide.
