6-year-old boy severely injured in stray dog attack in Jalandhar

Chandigarh: A six-year-old boy was seriously injured after being attacked by a stray dog outside his house in Jalandhar. The horrifying incident, captured on CCTV, shows the dog viciously biting and scratching the child before local residents rushed in to rescue him.

The boy sustained deep wounds on his hands, armpits, and other parts of his body. He was immediately taken to Civil Hospital Jalandhar, where he was vaccinated against rabies.

The footage has sparked outrage among residents, as the city has witnessed a rise in stray dog bite cases in recent days.

Locals have demanded action from authorities to address the growing threat.
