8-year-old girl raped in Dasuha, class 11 student boy booked
Dasuha News: An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a class 11 student in Ghoghra town of Dasuha in Hoshiarpur district, police said on Wednesday.
Based on the statement of the victim’s mother, the Dasuha police have registered a case against the accused under the POCSO Act. After the incident, the accused and his mother are absconding.
According to the police, the accused youth is also said to be a minor. There is a student of class 11 in the area itself. The police are conducting raids in search of the accused youth.
In the statement given to the police, the rape survival’s mother said that the accused youth lives near her house.
“I had gone out of my house for some work. Seeing the daughter alone in the house, the accused came and raped her. When I got home, I found my daughter crying. She later narrated her ordeal.”
