AAP has improved lives of common people in Punjab, says Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: AAP supremo and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has significantly improved the lives of ordinary citizens, which is why voters in Delhi and Punjab have rejected traditional parties in favor of AAP.

Highlighting the party’s achievements, Kejriwal pointed to exemplary work in education, healthcare, and employment in both states.

He also mentioned initiatives like free bus travel for women, introduced for their convenience. Referring to recent by-election victories in Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, and Chabewal assembly constituencies, Kejriwal attributed the wins to AAP’s focus on public welfare.

He assured that the party would continue to take progressive decisions to advance Punjab’s development.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann echoed these sentiments, noting that the people of Punjab have endorsed AAP’s governance in the past two-and-a-half years.

“Our work in health, education, and employment has been stamped with approval by the public,” Mann said, emphasizing that AAP won three of the four recent by-elections in Punjab.

Mann also took a jab at opposition parties, highlighting the defeats of Congress leaders’ family members, including Amrita Warring, wife of Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, and Jatinder Kaur Randhawa, wife of Lok Sabha MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, from key constituencies.

He further pointed out that BJP candidates lost their deposits in three seats.

“The old parties have been misleading people with lies, but under Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, AAP continues to prioritize public interest,” Mann added.
