AAP MLA from Jalandhar acquitted in kidnapping case

Jalandhar: AAP MLA from Punjab’s Jalandhar West Sheetal Angural and her brother Raj Angural have been acquitted by the district court in a four-year-old kidnapping case.

This case was registered by the police of police station division number-5 under sections 365 and 368 of the IPC. In the case, along with MLA Angural and his brother, Jolly, Jinni, Deepa and Chirag have also been acquitted from the case.

According to the information received, the police of police station division number-5 had registered a case in the year 2020 against five including MLA Angural on charges of kidnapping an 11-year-old child.

According to the FIR filed by the police, this kidnapping took place near Basti Danishmanda. Both serious sections were added to the case.
